Mandatory Procedure: The 1.6 HDi/TDCi engine is notorious for carbon buildup in the oil system. To prevent immediate failure of the new turbocharger, you MUST:
- Remove the micro-filter (sieve) from the oil feed bolt or replace the bolt entirely.
- Replace the oil feed pipe and oil return pipe.
- Flush the engine and change the oil and filter twice.
- Inspect the oil pump pressure and the sump for sludge.
